BOOKINGS
We require a minimum 24 hours notice for all bookings. Functions requiring staff and functions with special requests may need to be made at least 7 days prior to your function.
CONFIRMATION
Your booking must be confirmed within 7 days of the initial reservation. Your booking is not confirmed until a $250.00 deposit has been paid.
DELIVERIES
Orders above $100 are eligible for delivery. Delivery rates vary according to postcode, day of the week and time of day. Please allow a ten-minute margin for error when arranging your delivery time.
FINAL NUMBERS
Final numbers for your function must be confirmed 7 days prior to your function. The final number of guests represents the minimum number of guests for which you will be charged.
DEPOSIT
A deposit of $250.00 may be required within 7 days of written confirmation of your booking and your booking is not confirmed until payment of the deposit has been received.
CANCELLATIONS if a cancellation is made within 5 business days of the function, Salt and Pepper Catering will retain the $250.00 deposit.
MENU AND PRICING
Menu items and prices are subject to change without notice or consent.
SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
A minimum food order of $750 is required for Sundays and public holidays. Surcharges are applicable for all public holidays.
STAFFING
If you require staff longer than initially arranged, overtime rates will apply.
SERVING OF CUISINE THAT HAS NOT BEEN PREPARED BY Salt and Pepper Catering.
Due to our strict food safety policies, Salt and Pepper Catering staff are not permitted to serve food that has not been prepared and/or supplied by Salt and Pepper Catering. Clients are welcome to provide their own cuisine in addition to that provided by Salt and Pepper Catering, however our staff will not be able to assist in the preparation or service of that cuisine. With prior approval, Salt and Pepper Catering staff may assist with the cutting and service of cake (birthday, wedding etc.).
PAYMENT
For private clients, the remaining balance on the final invoice is due 24 hours before the function. Where catering is ordered at short notice (within 3 working days) the entire balance is due 24 hours before the function. Payment may be made via, Cheque, direct deposit or Cash. All cheques and money orders are to be made out to: Salt and Pepper Catering. A 7 day invoice is available for approved corporate applicants. Personal cheques must be received 5 business days prior to event.
BREAKAGES
All breakages of any sort and/or equipment not returned are the responsibility of the client.
